Heavenly body

"Heavenly Body", my catholic-inspired fashion design 💫
After seeing all of those great costumes at the MET Gala, I was inspired to design one for myself.
Since I'm from Spain, one of the most catholic-driven countries in the world (not like I'm proud), this theme inmediately clicked with me.

I chose to portray the imagery of the Virgen Dolorosa (weeping madonna) with gold embroideries, a gold halo-like headress, and a form fitting haute couture dress with more embroideries. Not pictured, the dress has a leg opening, and the blue mantle is very, very long.
The makeup resembles the shiny and tearful face of the statue.
The woman pictured is, indeed, myself.
